Cookies Policy

Last updated September 19, 2026

Zen Polyglot uses a small number of first-party cookies to make the app work. We don't use cookies for advertising, and our analytics provider doesn't use cookies at all.

Cookies we use

Cookie Purpose Duration
learner_token Anonymously links your spaced-repetition review progress to your browser, without requiring an account. Long-lived
zen-polyglot-session Standard session cookie used by the app framework to keep pages working correctly. Session
theme Stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember your light/dark mode choice. Until cleared

Analytics

We use Umami for privacy-focused analytics. Umami does not set cookies and does not track you across sites — see our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings at any time. Since the learner_token cookie is what keeps track of your review progress, clearing it will reset your progress.
