Privacy Policy

Last updated September 19, 2026

Zen Polyglot ("we", "us") does not require you to create an account. This policy explains the little data the app does collect and why.

What we collect

  • Lesson progress. Your spaced-repetition review progress is tied to an anonymous, randomly generated identifier stored in a first-party cookie on your device (see our Cookies Policy). It isn't linked to your name, email, or any other personal information.
  • Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand which lessons and languages are popular. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information — no IP addresses are retained and no cross-site tracking takes place.
  • Contact. If you email us at info@zenpolyglot.com, we'll use your email address only to reply to you.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. We don't run ads. We don't build advertising profiles.

Data retention

Lesson progress is kept for as long as your browser holds the anonymous identifier cookie. Clearing your cookies or using a different browser/device starts your progress over.

Your rights

Since we don't collect identifying information, there's no personal account data for us to export or delete. If you have questions about this policy, email us at info@zenpolyglot.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
