Japanese inner dialogue
Each lesson teaches one pattern with short phrases, then reuses earlier words and patterns in the next one. Go in order.
Practice tip: Repeat these phrases in your head while driving, waiting in line, or walking — and write them out by hand on paper. Once you know "this is…", use it any time you're not actively studying: silently name whatever's around you with the words you already know.
